The Brokis Glassmaker’s Night

The event also served to introduce Janštejn Glass Group (JGG), which was recently formed to consolidate the various enterprises of Brokis. The group comprises Sklárna Janštejn, Brokis, BROKISGLASS, Brokis Solutions, and Syrovátka. The strategic move gives rise to a unique symbiosis across the various entities not only in the public eye but namely in terms of establishing a unified identity and image within the group.

‘We have to look for ways to get our products closer to customers, both virtually and physically, with a degree of quality that’s absolutely unmistakable,’ says Jan Rabell, owner of Janštejn Glass Group, in explaining why the new Brokis collections were introduced in this fashion.

In part, the changes have come about due to COVID-19, which resulted in the cancellation of six of the seven international design shows the company was scheduled to appear at this year and also shut down the distribution network. Thus, Brokis lamps opted to present its new lights by means of a special event held on the premises of the glassworks. At the same time, the new collections will be on display together with the brand’s now iconic lights in a virtual house that Brokis will be introducing to the public this autumn on its online platforms.
