German Design Lamps by Lichtlauf

Lichtlauf has its own collection of lamps. Our passion for unconventional materials, colours and methods is reflected in the individual objects. The lamps by Lichtlauf can be bought in specialist shops. It all began in an underground car park. That was the workshop of the designer Günter Rochelt. It was here that I learned to leave out everything heavy and superfluous while building muscle-powered aeroplanes. This has remained my theme to this day. I was lucky enough to learn from many good people and that’s how I ended up with Ingo Maurer. Before that, I had worked as a designer in three dimensions. Now I discovered: one turns on the light and everything gets a fourth dimension. Once you realise that, you can’t get away from it. I look at every room with light eyes.

Our special lamps illuminate a wide variety of areas both indoors and in the garden and landscape. In this way, individual lighting wishes can be fulfilled in and around the building.

The Lichtlauf MunichReeds lamp fulfils the desire for atmospheric reference points in the room at night. Hardly visible during the day, the lamp creates a new perception of space in the dark. The stalks are flexible and stable, move in the wind and thus integrate very well into the surrounding vegetation.
